Your Responsibilities to the team, our clients and community
- Develop comprehensive test cases at the application and multi-application levels
- Create direct channels of communication to software and application developers that get the job done without managerial interjection
- Identify business trends utilizing real data and compile analysis reports that are delivered to developers, then follow-up on all results
- Implement a comprehensive management plan for each project and hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated on project progress
- Determine and document user requirements for business processes and abide by those requirements for future projects
- Create requirements, specifications and technical design documents that provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured project plans
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Identify, record, thoroughly document and track bugs
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
The Ideal Candidate
- Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies
- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
- Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business
- Flexible and able to accept a change in priorities as necessary
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with health care technology is a plus
- Solid knowledge of SQL
- Practical application ability with Microsoft Office
- Detailed analytical abilities
- Strong experience in user testing and software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with project management

Experience & Education needed for success in this role
Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Information Technology/Business Technology
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
- Normal mental and visual attention is required. Normal office working conditions requiring continuous use of both hands. Sitting most of the time, may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
- Position requires occasional bending, squatting, twisting and climbing stairs. There are minimal exposures to workplace hazards.
